Erin O’Donnell, DVM

Owner/Medical Director

Dr. Erin O’Donnell is originally from Colorado and she attended Kansas State University College of Veterinary Medicine. After graduating in 2000, she moved to Mesa, AZ to complete an internship in small animal medicine and surgery.

Shortly after her internship, Dr. O’Donnell moved to Tucson and worked as a relief veterinarian for a variety of general and emergency practices. Dr. O’Donnell joined the Northwest Pet Clinic team full time in 2005.

Today Dr. O’Donnell and her husband Gary are full owners of the practice. She loves all aspects of veterinary medicine, but has a particular interest in dentistry, behavior, internal medicine and alternative medicine.

Dr. O’Donnell and Gary enjoy desert living with their “blended family” of 5 dogs, 3 cats, and a variety of turtles and tortoises. She enjoys cactus gardening, drives and hikes in the Arizona desert, traveling, and the annual Tucson Gem Show.

Please join us in congratulating Dr. Morehouse on his much deserved retirement!  He will surely be missed!

Dr. Morehouse was raised in Abilene, Kansas on his family's farm.  Graduating from Kansas State University in 1964 with his Bachelor Degree and then again in 1966 with his Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine.  Dr. Morehouse envisioned bringing veterinary care to the outlaying communities of Northwest Tucson.  Casas Adobes Pet Clinic became a reality in 1977.  He has a special interest in Dermatology and Internal Medicine, which he studies through continuing education.  In his leisure time, Dr. Morehouse enjoys hiking and reading.

Dr. Morehouse is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, Arizona State Veterinary Medical Association, Southern Arizona Veterinary Medical Association, and the American Association of Feline Practitioners.

Dr. Blumenfeld was born and raised in New York City.  He first moved to Tucson in 1971 and enrolled at The University of Arizona.  Within the next 7 years, he had completed a Bachelor of Science Degree in Animal Health Science and a Master's Degree in Animal Physiology.  By 1979, he was ready to attend Oregon State University to obtain his Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine.  He moved back to Tucson  in 1983 to practice at Casas Adobes Pet Clinic, and has practiced here his entire career.  Though Dr. Blumenfeld has a special interest in Orthopedic Surgery, for which he pursued continuing education through Ohio State University; he most enjoys his day to day client/patient interactions.  When not practicing, Dr. Blumenfeld loves long distance running and biking with his wife of 20 years, Kim.

Dr. Blumenfeld is a member of Arizona Academy For Continuing Education, American Veterinary Medical Association, and Southern Arizona Veterinary Medical Association.

Dr. Phillips was raised in Tucson, and graduated with her Bachelor of Science Degree in Animal Health Science from the University of Arizona in 1981.  Following her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from Colorado State University in 1986, she started relief work in 1996 at Casas Adobes Pet Clinic, later joining the staff full time as an Associate Veterinarian in 1999.   Though Dr. Phillips loves all feline and canine animal companions, she is an avid lover of Border Collies.  She enjoys taking her Border Collie, Ember to local dog parks.  In her spare time, she enjoys socializing with friends and family and taking care of her many African Violets.

Dr. Phillips is a member of American Veterinary Medical Association, Arizona State Veterinary Medical Association, and Southern Arizona Veterinary Medical Association.
