Val (Senior Technician/Asst. Manager) - Valerie joined our team in May 2012. A five year veterinary technician, she is happy to call Penny Paws her new home. She has been around animals her whole life, from the large animals of Tennessee, to the great sea animals of the North Carolina coast. With her knowledge and experience in the animal field she will love and care for your pet as her own! In her spare time, Valerie enjoys hanging out with family, friends, and fiancé Joshua. She loves going on adventures and photographing every moment. At the end of the day she loves to curl up with her pups Serenity and Gus and turn on The Office!

Casey (Technician) - Casey discovered Penny Paws in March of 2013.  With her passion to expand the number of pets she can help, she felt Penny Paws would be the perfect spot.  Her 3 years of vet tech experience and always having pets at home provide her the ability to show the utmost respect and love for your pet! In Casey's spare time, she simply loves a good time! Whether it's spending time with her boyfriend, Erving, daughter Nahla and their own pups, Tootsie and Roxy, going out with friends or family, or listening to her favorite jams, being social is one of her favorite things to do!
